un, deux… rabbit?

Hey there! We know that the holidays can be a hectic time, with all the turkey and trimmings to prepare. And on top of that, finding time for a drink can be a bit of a chore, especially when you're not sure what you're in the mood for. But don't worry! We've got you covered with not one, but two delicious cocktails that use the same spirit and syrup. So, sit back, relax, and let us help you unwind with a tasty beverage that supports you in the kitchen or chillin’ out on the couch…

Pumpkin Spiced Hot Toddy

Ingredients

2 oz Rabbit in the rye herbal liqueur

3/4 oz pumpkin spiced syrup (recipe down below)

1/2 oz lemon juice

*optional 4 dashes of angostura bitters

2-3 oz hot water

Directions

Before you get started with making this hot toddy, make sure that you are prepping your glassware with hot water! This will reduce the temperature shock when you pour in your ingredients, and so that the cocktail stays warmer for longer. Add all of your ingredients together, stir to incorporate, pour into your glass and garnish with whatever fruit you’d like.

Pumpkin spiced mai tai

Ingredients

2 oz Rabbit in the rye herbal liqueur

1 oz lime juice

3/4 oz pumpkin spiced syrup (recipe down below)

1/4 oz orange liqueur

Directions

Add all of your ingredients into a shaking tin with ice, and shake away! If you’re feeling fancy, feel free to do a dry shake afterwards so that the pumpkin spiced syrup can foam up, giving your drink a fluffier mouthfeel!

Ingredients

1 cup sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup light brown sugar

1/2 cup water

1/3 cup pumpkin puree

1 tbsp pumpkin spice extract

Directions

To whip up this recipe, just toss all the ingredients (minus the pumpkin spice extract!!) into a pot and put it on medium/high heat. Give it a good whisk until everything is mixed and it starts boiling. Then, turn down the heat to low and let it simmer. Now it's time to add the pumpkin spiced extract, but make sure you don't let it boil over! Lastly, pour the mixture into a storage container and let it cool down.

A delicious addition to your morning coffee!
