JULY PUNCH FEAT. DAMPFWERK GIN
Minnesota summer has finally arrived, along with the humidity and the need to sit by a body of water.
We read somewhere that it is recommended, nay, required to make at least one punch cocktail during the summer months! Find this easy to make punch at home.
Ingredients
12 sugar cubes
8 oz seltzer
6 oz Dampfwerk gin
2 oz Aperol
2 oz Grapefruit juice
2 oz lemon juice
4 dash Peychaud’s bitters
Garnish: grapefruit peel
Directions
Muddle the sugar cubes and 4 oz of seltzer in a pitcher until the sugar is broken up. Add remaining ingredients (minus the remaining 4 oz of seltzer) and fill ¾ with ice. Stir until cold and slightly diluted! Strain into a punch bowl over large ice and add remaining seltzer! Viola. Serve in an unconventional glass.
