DAY 3 FEAT. HELGOLANDER
On a scale of 1-10, how German is it of us to put a cocktail in an egg holder? Just like we are running out of tv shows to watch on Netflix, we are running out of cocktail glasses. Here is day 3 of the cocktail series. We hope that you're still with us.
Ingredients
1 ½ oz Sherry (recommended: Lustau East India Sherry)
½ oz Dampfwerk Helgolander
½ oz Red sweet vermouth (recommended: Cocchi di Torino (also listed in previous Dampfwerk cocktails!!))
¼ oz Lemon juice
3 drops saline solution
Directions
You’re going to shake this cocktail so vigorously that your next-door neighbor thinks you picked up the maracas, and then you’ll want to strain your mixture into an egg holder or a glass.
Saline Specs
- 4:1 ration (40g warm water, 10g salt)
Add salt to warm water, and stir until dissolved. Store in a dropper if you have one! Otherwise, make a small batch and grab a spoon and slowly drip three drops of solution into your shaker.
